"Recently our organization, the Vail Valley Foundation held a sponsor summit for one of our annual events, the Teva Mountain Games. The purpose of the summit was to draw current sponsors closer to the event and ask them to think harder and more clearly about how they would take charge of the dollars spent on sponsorship and truly activate on-site. Having Mr. Migala speak at the event was the main trigger to opening our sponsor's minds to an aggressive way of thinking about activation. His ability to tie the "what ifs" to "here" is an example of how another brand created success" was the perfect lead into our summit weekend and produced the much needed energy surrounding planned brain storming sessions. We did not loose one sponsor who was up for renewal and actually upsold a couple clients into better activation programs. I attribute much of this year retention and success to the way in which Mr. Migala invigorated our brands and pushed them to be better marketers in a time when only the best will survive".
